My directive was to transform the merchandising
category pages on mobile to be more engaging for
customers. My approach led me to shift the entire thinking
of stakeholders to better understand a need for design
guidelines and standards, in order to bring a unified
design layout and visual style to all of Amazon's store
platforms. I designed templates and tools for cross-team
implementation, along with design guides for marketing
teams to create a new pipeline of graphical, immersive
merchandising. With the use of responsive design assets
and easy to follow processes, I was able to shift, change
and enhance the basic category pages across Amazon's vast
marketplace, both on desktop and mobile.
